This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and comparable technologies are used on ub.consulting, why they are used and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes the processing of personal data in general. The controller is Alpen Agency s. r. o.; full company details are set out in the Imprint.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device and can read again on subsequent visits. They are used, for example, to remember the language you selected or to record your consent decision. The same rules apply to comparable technologies such as local storage.
2. Consent
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website, for its security or for documenting your consent are set without your consent (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).
All other cookies — in particular the analytics cookies listed below — are only set after you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 109 of the Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications). Before you make a choice, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google.
3. Withdrawing or changing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future in the consent settings below on this page, where you can enable or disable individual categories. Every page of this website links to this Cookie Policy in the footer, so you can reach these settings at any time.
When you withdraw your consent, the analytics cookies already set are deleted. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal.
You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, or configure your browser to block them. Please note that this may impair the functionality of this website.

Google Consent Mode v2 is implemented with all signals set to "denied" by default. Google Signals is not enabled and no advertising features are used. Data retention in Google Analytics is set to 14 months.

5. What this website does not use
- No marketing or advertising cookies
- No Google Tag Manager
- No Meta (Facebook) pixel and no other social media tracking
- No embedded maps, videos or social media content (our office addresses are linked to Google Maps as ordinary external links, which only transmit data if you click on them)
- No external fonts — all fonts are hosted on our own server
- No cookies from our contact form — it sets no cookies and embeds no third-party services (in particular no Google reCAPTCHA)
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies used on this website change. The current version is always published on this page.
